Co-Director: Samantha Tramack
Samantha comes from a long tradition of family singers. A fifth-generation barbershopper on her father’s side and third-generation on her mother’s, Samantha has the vocal ability and “ear” to sing several different parts.
In her thirteen years as a Harmony member, Samantha has already won many international medals with her chorus and competed with five quartets! In 2009, she sang lead with Three and a Half. In 2012, she sang tenor with Sister Act, 2012 International 11th Place Quartet and winner of the Findlay Plaque (novice quartet award), along with her sister, Christina, and Amanda and Andrea Hutchings, sisters from Maine-ly Harmony. Samantha also sings baritone with Family Fun, 2018 Area 2 4th Place Quartet, with her mother, Renee, and another mother-daughter team, Diane and Carey Fagerstrom. Samantha is the lead of the 2016 Harmony Queens, Taken 4 Granite, with Renee, Christina, and close family friend Katrine Dickau. Samantha currently sings baritone in New Q, the 2019 International 5th Place Quartet, joining Renee, fellow chorus member, Kathleen Macdonald, and good friend, Linda Noble.
Samantha directed the Minor Chords chorus at International in 2014 as well as directing the Generations Chorus from 2012 to 2016. Samantha’s mother, Renee, sister, Christina, and her grandmother, Pat Longchamp, a charter member of Champlain Echoes, also sing with Generations Chorus.
Samantha is a proud graduate of Plymouth State University with a degree in Music Education and is employed as a music teacher in the Shaker Regional School District, Belmont Middle School, and Canterbury Elementary School, all in New Hampshire.
Samantha is very strong vocally and also was a member of her college’s Chorale, Chamber Singers and was the Music Director of their female a cappella group, Mixed Emotions, as well as a member of the band. Needless to say… New England Voices in Harmony is delighted to have Samantha Tramack as our Co-Director.
