Co-Director: Renée Tramack
Renée Tramack, a second-generation barbershopper, joined Harmony, Inc. in 1982 as a teen, where she sang with her mother, a charter member of Vermont’s Champlain Echoes, one of the original founding chapters of Harmony, Inc.
Over the years, she has sung in and been a member of several choruses and quartets. As well as directing the International Champion Chorus, New England Voices in Harmony; she sings bass with the 2016 International Championship Quartet, Taken 4 Granite and the 2009 Harmony Queens, Showcase.
Renée has 30 years of experience as a chorus director. Before joining New England Voices in Harmony, Renée previously directed choruses in Vermont, Virginia, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. Renée is a Certified Singing Judge for Harmony, Inc., and enjoys coaching choruses and quartets to help them improve their vocal and performance skills. She also gives private singing lessons for individuals who want to learn more about singing with a freely produced, well supported, resonant tone.
Renée lives in Nashua, NH, with her husband Steve, daughters Christina and Samantha, and son Joshua.
Steve is also a coach, Certified Music Judge in the men’s International Barbershop Society, and a sought-after arranger. Both Christina and Samantha are members of New England Voices in Harmony and Taken 4 Granite quartet, and Joshua is a member of the Granite Statesmen chorus. The entire family sings together, whenever possible, as the Von Tramack Family Singers!
