Renée Tramack

New England Voices in Harmony is directed by founding member Renée Tramack:  an internationally acclaimed, award-winning director, certified singing judge, and a two-time Harmony Queen.

Renée is a second-generation barbershopper who joined Harmony, Inc. in 1982 as a teen.  She sang with her mother, a charter member of Vermont’s Champlain Echoes, one of the original founding chapters of Harmony, Inc.

Over the years, Renée has sung with and been a member of several choruses and quartets.  Along with directing New England Voices in Harmony, she sings bass with the 2016 International Championship Quartet, Taken 4 Granite, and the 2009 Harmony Queens, Showcase.

Renée has 40 years of experience as a chorus director.  Before joining New England Voices in Harmony, Renée previously directed choruses in Vermont, Virginia, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island.  Renée is a Certified Singing Judge for Harmony, Inc. and the Barbershop Harmony Society, and enjoys coaching choruses and quartets to help them improve their vocal and performance skills.  She is a frequent faculty member for Harmony College Northeast and Harmony University, and gives private singing lessons for individuals who want to learn more about singing with a freely produced, well-supported, resonant tone.

Renée lives in Nashua, New Hampshire, with her husband, Steve.
